FRRR Tackling Tougher Times Together Grants – closes 5 February 2019

Community groups and not-for-profit organisations can apply for up to $150,000 to assist drought-affected communities.

The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal’s (FRRR) Tackling Tougher Times Together Grants aim to reduce social isolation, support leadership development, reduce volunteer fatigue, support local economic recovery and address disadvantage caused by drought.

Examples of eligible projects include:

  • hosting events which showcase local talent
  • tools and equipment including BBQs, trailers, water tanks and signage
  • small scale community infrastructure, and
  • equipment and experiences which reduce isolation and encourage connection.

Applications from grassroots organisations based in drought-affected regions are preferred.
