Raising money for Australian sport

The Australian Sports Foundation has been helping fundraise for sport in Australia for 30 years, raising over $300m in that time. We are the only organisation in Australia dedicated to tax deductible fundraising for sport.

Our unique Fundraising4Sport program is designed to enable your sporting club or organisation to partner with us and receive tax deductible donations from people and companies, to fund projects that develop your sport. Working with us is easy and best of all, there are no chocolates to sell!

We already work with almost 800 organisations from all over Australia helping them fundraise for things like purchasing new equipment, building or upgrading facilities, funding a tournament, supporting team travel, running participation programs, and funding representative and elite program costs.

In November we are visiting the Gippsland region and, in partnership with GippSport, will be hosting a free workshop to talk all things fundraising for sport and how we can help you. We’ll be providing an overview of sport fundraising and why it’s vital for our sporting culture, tips on creating a fundraising plan, effective and simple ways to fundraise, community fundraising campaigns, event activations. We’ll also provide an overview of how the ASF can help and support you along the way by providing an online donation platform (we also have manual donation capability), offering support and resources that enable you to fundraise effectively and taking care most of the administration for your fundraising including receipting and reporting.
