Child Safe Standards Workshops

GippSport wants to provide Sporting Clubs with some important information about Safeguarding Children and Young People. The Victorian Government is introducing new Child Safe Standards on 1 July 2022.

The eleven Standards build on the current seven Standards which require all clubs to have in place policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all children and young people who participate in programs at your club. To ensure you are equipped to implement the new requirements, we have a dedicated educational workshop and a host of resources to support your club.

We will be hosting 3 Workshops:
👉Traralgon at Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium on Tuesday 21 June 2022
👉Inverloch at Inverloch Community Hub on Tuesday 21 June 2022
👉Bairnsdale at The Hub- 27 Dalmahoy Street Bairnsdale on Wednesday 22 June 2022
