Five Gymnastics clubs from across Gippsland are answering the call and will be working with GippSport’s Access for All Abilities program & Gymnastics Victoria to achieve standards to become ‘Champion Clubs’ in Inclusion.

Leongatha, Maffra, Energetic (Traralgon), Ulinga (Traralgon) & Warragul Gymnastics club’s will look at including people of all abilities in their club by improving & removing physical, communication & attitudinal access barriers within their clubs.

Recently Leongatha Gymnastics Club has hosted the South Gippsland Specialist School on an eight week program to celebrate the club finalising working through the standards.  Maffra Gymnastics Club will be hosting George Gray Centre in Term 2, whilst the other clubs are still working through the standards with guidance & assitance from Gymnastics Victoria & GippSport.

The work that these clubs are doing around inclusion meets standards in the Access for All Abilities program, VicHealth Healthy Sporting Environments program as well as Gymnastics Victoria’s own Inclusion standards.

If you are interested in participating in Gymnastics please contact the clubs directly or Dan and Brenton at GippSport can assist with inquiries as well.

If your club is interested in working with the Access for All Abilities program please contact GippSport.
