Gippsland ‘Summer Orange Round’ 2021

Join us for Gippsland ‘Summer Orange Round’ a stand against family violence and men’s violence against women and children and showcasing gender equality in sport.

Many sporting clubs are already doing a lot of great work in creating more inclusive spaces for women and girls and initiatives such as the Orange Round are an excellent means of highlighting some of this work and encouraging other clubs to consider how their environments could be more equitable for all participants.

In 2021 we are inviting all sports clubs across Gippsland to be a part of the Summer Orange Round campaign which will take place between the 22nd of November and the 4th of December 2021.

2021 Orange Round Ambassadors

This year’s Orange Round campaign will include ambassadors from a range of different sports who are displaying gender equality in action and they are showcasing the positive change we want to see more of in our community.

Our ambassadors are individuals within the Gippsland Community who are demonstrating that sport thrives when we don’t restrict people to rigid gender roles. We are celebrating these people for the roles which they are undertaking.
