a variety of activities to encourage people to play golf. This includes our local Gippsland Golf Club’s who are involved in Golf Month.
An example of this is Sale Golf Club who have a number of program’s available to all ages and abilities. Director of Golf at the club Matt Portelli says that “unfortunately due to bad weather our Swing Fit program hasn’t commenced over the past 3 Tuesday’s. We have 6 registered keen beginners who will commence on Tuesday October 25 with spots still available. Other programs available during October are $5 Thursday’s, the My Golf program aimed at children, and a 3-week program for students attending the Catholic College in Sale. Another special that the club is promoting is the $15 play golf all day for any public player. All of these programs are cater for any ability level whether you have any knowledge of the game, or not, and isn’t dependent on having a golf handicap.”
