On Sunday 13 December teams from Bairnsdale, Yarram, Sale, Traralgon and Drouin came together to play in the finals of the 2015/16 No Boundaries cricket season. Each Sunday over the last couple of months players have enjoyed competing against one another, with the final played out between Drouin and Sale.

Congratulations to the 2015/16 No Boundaries cricket winner: Drouin.

In an even and well contested match, Drouin were able to sneak a lead and hold off Sale in a highly skilled game of cricket. In the other matches Traralgon played Bairnsdale and Yarram versed Sale 2. We would like to congratulate everyone for their participation this season, playing in the spirit of the game, with smiles on faces and most importantly having fun. Each player received a medallion for their participation this season on the day.

A highlight of the competition is the encouragement and sportsmanship shown between teams and players. Each year the coveted ‘Player of the year’ trophy is awarded to a player who always tries their hardest, plays within the spirit of the game and enjoys themselves. This year James Tymensen was awarded the 2015/16 No Boundaries Player of the Year. Congratulations James!!
