The 2013-14 season of No Boundaries Cricket has drawn to a close.  Unfortunately the weather gods have not been kind to us with the last round being cancelled due to hot weather, and this weekend’s finals also being cancelled with a pending 40deg forecast.

It has been a fantastic season with some tremendous skills on show.  Teams from Drouin, Traralgon, Sale, Bairnsdale & Yarram have played in fantastic spirit throughout the season.  Without having been able to play a finals series the final ladder for the season was as follows:

1. Drouin1. Sale 1
3. Yarram
4. Bairnsdale
5. Sale 2
6. Traralgon

Whilst our local competition is completed, not all the cricket is done for this season.  Now opponents become team mates as the No Boundaries teams combine to form the Gippsland All Abilities Cricket side.  Gippsland will be sending two sides off to the Cricket Victoria State All Abilities carnival to compete in the 10-Over Tonk & Super-league competitions.  On Sunday 23 February, sides from all over the state will converge on Casey Fields, in what is All Abilities Cricket’s pinnacle event.  It promises to be a great day, good luck to our Gippsland sides.

GippSport would like to thank all the team managers of the sides for their continued support of the  No Boundaries Cricket league, without them the competition would not be able to be sustained.  GippSport would also like to thank Region 7 Gippsland Cricket for their support throughout the season, in particular David Anderson who has been a fantastic
