Youth Participation Workshop

The Youth Participation Workshop aims to build capacity of coaches and clubs to provide engaging environments for youth participants.

This workshop was developed as part of the Increasing Access to Sport project, a Latrobe Health Innovation Zone initiative that aims to identify and address barriers to sport for people aged 12-18 years. The intended audience is coaches, but content is also applicable to team managers and committee members. It incorporates elements of:

  • Positive coaching
  • Youth marketing strategies
  • Sideline behaviour management
  • Solutions informed by local data

To book this FREE workshop for your sporting clubs, leagues or association, contact the Team at GippSport.
