GippSport is happy to announce that it will again be offering First Aid training, Food Handling and Responsible Serving of Alcohol training for clubs across Gippsland. Along with these training sessions GippSport can also provide one on one support to your club on grant applications, incorporation and other club development areas such as governance.
In the coming months GippSport will offer these training sessions as a way of up–skilling club volunteers. The training will be offered to clubs at a subsidised rate to make it easier for clubs to participate in these training sessions. There will be limits on participants so clubs will be asked to register for the session that they want to participate in.
GippSport Program Coordinator for East Gippsland, Matt Ogilvie is excited that the training sessions are back on and are able to help clubs train their volunteers
“We are looking forward to seeing a diverse range of Clubs represented at all training sessions. Clubs that are involved in GippSport’s Healthy Sporting Environments program, the Australian Drug Foundations Good Sports program or Access for All Abilities program will be eligible for significant subsidisation towards the cost of these sessions”
“GippSport can also offer your club assistance with the new incorporation reform act, grant writing and general club help with governance, sponsorship or other club issues”
Matt Ogilvie, GippSport Program Coordinator.
