GippSport receives funding from Sport & Recreation Victoria, VicHealth & the Australian Drug Foundation to deliver a range of programs across the Gippsland region. The programs we deliver aim to increase participation in community sport as well as developing healthy, safe & welcoming environments for community sport to prosper. The Access for All Abilities program is a Victorian Government initiative delivered by GippSport to develop and support inclusive community sporting environments. This program will assist people with disability as well as those from other priority population groups in accessing local sporting opportunities. Click HERE for more information.
Through delivering the Regional Sport & Recreation Program GippSport is able to provide free one on one support to community sports clubs. This can include, but is not limited to, assisting with grant applications, strategic planning and developing programs aimed at increasing participation & memberships. GoodSports is an initiative of the Australian Drug Foundation. The program works with community based sporting clubs to promote responsible management of alcohol, to increase viability of sporting clubs and assist in creating a welcoming and friendly environment. Click HERE for more information.
