Are you seeking to advance your career in the sport and recreation industry? GippSport offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience through our SWL (Structured Workplace Learning) and Work Experience programs.
You will have the opportunity to acquire practical experience by observing and learning from industry-qualified and experienced professionals, designing and delivering sports programs, completing professional development courses, and undertaking administrative duties.
As a work experience student, you will shadow our coordinators for a week to gain insight into what goes on behind the scenes, as well as participate in sport and recreation programs in school and community settings.
SWL students will work on their own project of interest, such as designing a youth-focused event or activity, under the guidance of an experienced program coordinator.
The placement location may vary from term to term, including Traralgon, Bairnsdale, Inverloch, and Sale.
