Gippsport Supports Lakes Entrance Netball Association at the 11th Annual Beach Netball Tournament

Running an event takes more than great players. It takes planning, people power, and practical support.

GippSport was proud to work alongside the Lakes Entrance Netball Association (LENA) during their 11th Annual Beach Netball Tournament, helping the club deliver a professional and well-organised event on the stunning Lakes Entrance foreshore.

The tournament brought together over 80 players across 8 mixed-gender teams from across the region, providing a full day of competitive and social beach netball. Gippsport staff were on the ground throughout, providing hands-on operational support to ease volunteer pressure and ensure the event ran smoothly.

Our support included:

  • Scoring all matches, ensuring accurate and timely results

  • Maintaining the playing courts, keeping surfaces safe, consistent, and visually professional

  • Managing setup for the microphone and speaker system, allowing organisers to focus on scheduling and game flow

A highlight of the day was a showcase game, with junior girls from LENA playing alongside volunteer officials from Netball Victoria and Curtis, our Program Coordinator across East Gippsland, Wellington, and Latrobe bringing the community together and adding a fun, engaging twist to the event.

This is what partnership looks like: not taking over, but backing clubs with the right support at the right time.
