Tackle Your Feelings Sessions – Book Your Session Now

Tackle Your Feelings is a free training program designed for local sporting clubs and associations, helping coaches and club leaders build their understanding of mental health and develop the skills to support their players.

The program is delivered face-to-face, providing participants with practical tools to build safe, supportive and inclusive sporting environments.

Delivered by a local psychologist, the training focuses on helping participants to:

Understand mental health and its impact in community sport

Recognise the signs of mental ill-health in players

Respond with confidence and appropriate support

By building these skills, coaches and club leaders can play an important role in supporting the wellbeing of their players, while also strengthening their own leadership and communication capabilities.

The program is designed to be practical, accessible and relevant to community sport settings, particularly within football and netball environments across Gippsland.

At Gippsport, we support clubs to build capacity both on and off the field, and programs like Tackle Your Feelings are an important step in creating healthier, more connected communities.

If your club is interested in participating, fill in the form below and our team will be in touch.
