Wheelchair Hoops is a fun, social basketball program based in Warragul, delivered by GippSport in partnership with Warragul Basketball Association and Basketball Victoria. Everyone plays on a level court — sports wheelchairs are available for able-bodied participants to borrow, making it a genuinely inclusive experience for the whole community.
Inclusive for all
Open to wheelchair users, people with physical disability, and able-bodied participants. Sports wheelchairs are provided on the night — no need to bring your own.
Relaxed & social
No competitive pressure — come along, have a roll, shoot some hoops, and meet others in the community. Great for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Safe environment
Sessions are facilitated in a welcoming and supportive environment. Trained facilitators ensure everyone feels comfortable and included from the moment they arrive.
Local & accessible
Held at a fully accessible indoor venue in Warragul with accessible parking, accessible bathrooms, and public transport options nearby.

This program is designed to be truly inclusive. There are very few barriers to entry — if you're wondering whether it's right for you, the answer is almost certainly yes.
