GippSport Secures Major Funding to ‘Level the Field’ in Gippsland

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that GippSport’s application for the Level the Field 2025-2027 Grant Program has been successful!

Delivered by Leisure Networks in partnership with the Victorian Government, the Level the Field program is a groundbreaking initiative designed to help sports and community organizations strengthen and expand job opportunities for people with disability across regional Victoria.

What Does This Mean for Gippsland?

The core goal of Level the Field is to increase support for more people with disability to actively join the sport and recreation workforce in both paid and volunteer roles.

As one of just 29 initiatives selected across the state to share in this $7.16 million funding pool, GippSport is incredibly excited to lead this charge locally. This grant will allow us to create:

We are currently finalising the official funding agreements, but we are already gearing up for the work ahead. We will be sharing the full details of how this program will roll out very soon. Get ready for some fantastic new all-abilities opportunities coming to Gippsland!
