GippSport is excited to work with Proud2Play to be supporting the community consultation process to understand the needs, experiences, and climate for LGBTIQ+ folks in sport and recreation in the Gippsland area.
This work aims to understand the current situation so we can support the development of an LGBTIQ+ strategy for GippSport and the Gippsland area, build the industry’s capacity in the Gippsland area, and create more spaces in which LGBTIQ+ folks can participate in sport and recreation free from fear and discrimination.
Whether you are currently involved in sport, have previously been involved, or never felt that sport and recreation was a space for you, we want to hear from you. This survey will complement our in-person consultations over the next couple of months.
