Between Games: Ep 11. Tips on Staying Active with VicHealth

Listen to us:

Michelle and Gene had the pleasure of catching up with Matt Cameron who is the Senior Project Officer, in the Physical Activity and Sport Team at VicHealth. Matt has been with VicHealth since 2011 and in this time he has worked collaboratively with Regional Sports Assemblies, State Sporting Associations, community sport clubs and other partners to provide more opportunities for Victorians to be physically active In this episode we get the pleasure to pick his brain and have a chat around active recreation trends and also get an insight into his knowledge of the Doing Sport Differently Project VicHealth have been leading. They also discussed ways of staying active at a time when many winter sports had been cancelled. GippSport’s Virtual Physical Activity Challenge is one way, with the next one to run on the weekend of August 15 & 16. Michelle and Gene explain how you can sign up and reveal the great prizes on offer.
