Over the past few years, all six Gippsland councils—Baw Baw, Bass Coast, East Gippsland, Latrobe City, South Gippsland, and Wellington—have taken significant steps towards gender equity by implementing Fair Access Policies to ensure women and girls have equal opportunities in sport and recreation.
Now, the Change Our Game Community Activation Grants present a valuable opportunity for councils, sporting clubs, associations, and community organisations to bring these policies to life by funding programs, events, and leadership initiatives that drive real, meaningful change in Gippsland’s sporting landscape.
