Community Grants – Latrobe City Council

Latrobe City Council’s Community Grants Program supports community organisations to deliver projects, events and facility improvements that strengthen participation, inclusion and wellbeing across the municipality.

Funding supports initiatives that:

  • Align with the Council Plan and Living Well Latrobe – Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan
  • Improve accessibility and inclusion for priority groups
  • Deliver social, cultural, environmental or economic benefits to the local community

Funding is limited and awarded through a competitive process. Applicants must apply through the correct funding stream and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Community Grant Program Guidelines.

Now open – 2025/26 Community Grant Program (Round 2)

  • Applications open: 9 February 2026
  • Applications close: 4pm, 6 March 2026
  • Outcomes announced: End of May 2026

Community groups are encouraged to review the guidelines and ensure their application aligns with program priorities before applying.
