Community Grants Program – Baw Baw Shire

Funding of up to $5,000 is available through the Community Grants Program to support the delivery of community events, projects, programs, environmental initiatives, and the purchase of equipment.

The program aims to support communities to be sustainable, healthy and thriving, while strengthening local participation and inclusion.

Program aims

The Community Grants Program supports projects that:

  • Align with Baw Baw Shire Council’s Plan and the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan
  • Improve participation, inclusion and accessibility
  • Support community-led priorities through strong partnerships

Applicants are encouraged to engage early to discuss project ideas and eligibility.

Applications open: 9am Monday 2 February 2026
Applications close: Midday Friday 27 February 2026
