Gippy Girls Can Week Returns this September

Gippy Girls Can Week is back from 8 to 14 September — and we’re calling on local clubs, community groups, and organisations to help us celebrate!

This week-long celebration is all about creating supportive, inclusive spaces for Gippsland women to get active in ways that feel good. Whether it’s a social walk, yoga in the park, a come-and-try session, or dancing in your lounge room, Gippy Girls Can Week is about movement without pressure, and fun without judgement.

We're inviting:

  • Sporting clubs to run beginner-friendly sessions or social games.

  • Community groups to host activities like walking groups, gentle exercise, or dance sessions.

  • Health and wellbeing providers to join the celebration and promote local opportunities for women to move their way.

If your group or organisation is interested in hosting an activity, partnering with us, or spreading the word, we’d love to hear from you. You can submit an Expression of Interest below or contact our team to chat about what’s possible.

Let’s make this a Gippsland-wide celebration of movement, confidence, and connection.

Save the date: 8–14 September 2025
