Inclusion Grants: Level the Field 2025–27

Strengthening Access, Opportunity, and Inclusion in Victorian Sport

Sport and recreation in Victoria is thriving, but people with disability living in regional areas are still underrepresented in paid and volunteer roles. The Level the Field 2025–27 Grant Program is part of the $40 million All Abilities Sport Fund and is designed to increase workforce participation and strengthen inclusive practices across the sector.

The program offers funding through two streams:

  1. The Long Game: System and organisational change
  2. Levelling Up: Employment pathways and opportunities

Program Goals:

  • Develop pathways and training for people with disability to enter paid and volunteer roles in sport and recreation
  • Support existing staff and volunteers to create inclusive, welcoming environments
  • Embed policies and systems that provide lasting opportunities for people with disability
  • Encourage innovative projects designed, led, and run by and for people with disability

We want clubs, leagues, and community organisations in Gippsland to partner with us to deliver local initiatives. If your club wants to involve more people with disability through volunteering or employment, we can help structure applications and access funding.
