Join Us for FIDA Come and Try Days in Gippsland!

GippSport is thrilled to host FIDA (Football Integration Development Association) come-and-try days across Gippsland this October! These exciting events, open to all abilities, are perfect for anyone wanting to experience the joy and excitement of Aussie Rules Football in a fun and inclusive setting.

What is FIDA?

FIDA is dedicated to creating inclusive football opportunities for players of all abilities, ensuring everyone has the chance to participate in Aussie Rules Football. GippSport is proud to partner with FIDA to bring these events to Gippsland, fostering a love for the sport while building strong, supportive communities.

Event Details:

Bairnsdale:

  • Date: 1st October
  • Location: Howitt Park
  • Time: 10 am – 2 pm

Sale:

  • Date: 3rd October
  • Location: TBA
  • Time: 10 am – 2 pm

Traralgon:

  • Date: 4th October
  • Location: Catterick Crescent Reserve
  • Time: 10 am – 2 pm

What to Expect

Participants can look forward to fun skill-building activities, friendly games, and drills, designed for all levels of experience. Whether you’re new to AFL or a seasoned player, everyone will have the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, and enjoy a great day of footy. Coaches and volunteers will be on hand to assist and guide everyone through the day’s activities.

These come-and-try days are open to all ages and abilities, making it the perfect event for anyone looking to give Aussie Rules Football a go in a supportive and inclusive environment. We encourage everyone, regardless of experience, to come along and join the fun!
