Partner with GippSport to build inclusive volunteer frameworks across your league

Volunteers are the backbone of community sport. GippSport is supporting leagues and associations across Gippsland to build inclusive, sustainable volunteer frameworks that work across multiple clubs.

If your league wants to create better systems to recruit, support and retain volunteers with disability, we want to hear from you.

This work aligns with Level the Field – Stream 1, which focuses on long-term system and organisational change across sporting networks.

What is Level the Field – Stream 1?

Stream 1, The Long Game, supports organisations to make lasting changes to systems, policies and practices that improve paid and volunteer opportunities for people with disability across sport and active recreation.

Rather than one-off programs, Stream 1 is about:

  • changing how organisations work

  • improving governance and frameworks

  • building capability across networks like leagues and associations

  • creating models that can be rolled out across multiple clubs

How GippSport can support your league

GippSport is working with leagues and associations to explore Stream 1 partnership opportunities focused on inclusive volunteering.

We can support your league to:

  • review how volunteering currently works across clubs

  • identify barriers for volunteers with disability

  • co-design an inclusive volunteer framework that clubs can actually use

  • develop practical tools, templates and guidance for clubs

  • support pilot clubs and scale learnings across the league

  • strengthen governance and leadership practices around inclusion

  • measure impact and demonstrate outcomes

Why partner with GippSport?

GippSport brings:

  • strong relationships across Gippsland clubs, councils and partners

  • experience supporting governance, volunteering and inclusion

  • a practical, club-focused approach

  • support with co-design, planning and funding alignment

  • local knowledge of what works in regional communities

Our role is to help turn inclusion goals into clear, workable systems that clubs can confidently adopt.
