Make Your Move is the new GippSport initiative dedicated to providing physical activity opportunities to the Latrobe Valley workforce, community groups and through community events running in the Valley. Our Make Your Move team knows that finding the time to be active and reduce time spent sitting during the week, especially your time at work, can be difficult. We work with workplaces and community to develop programs and activities tailored to your workplace and group to promote and encourage physical activity at times where it is sometimes considered too hard.
Make Your Move believes any activity is good activity as long as you’re moving! We want you to have fun while providing extra opportunity to be social within your workplace and community, and have timeout from those daily stresses. Increased activity to break up the day reduces time spent sedentary and is proven to have exponential health and wellbeing benefits as well as increasing productivity.
