Emma Foley

Program Officer for Bass Coast and South Gippsland

Emma has sound experience previously working at the council focused on Young Communities/Sport & Recreation. Emma is dedicated to providing opportunities and support to participants in community level sport. With a solid foundation in sports management from Victoria University and experience with the Carlton Football Club, she brings passion and expertise to GippSport. A Western Bulldogs supporter, Emma also finds joy in beach days, gardening, and her pets.

Gene Parini

Program Coordinator for Bass Coast and South Gippsland

Gene has strong and extensive knowledge in corporate marketing, volunteering experience and community sport. A Carlton FC & West Ham fan, Gene values his time playing soccer, enjoying live music, and delving into a good book, as well as cherishing moments with his son.

Shiv Wheeler

Program Officer for Baw Baw & Latrobe

Shiv has knowledge and experience in the inclusion space of sport, having worked at both state and national sporting bodies. Shiv is dedicated to making sport more inclusive and accessible at the community level of sport. Shiv brings experience from AFL Victoria and a wealth of knowledge in inclusive sports. A Swinburne graduate with a recent Bachelor of Business in Sports Management, Shiv champions accessibility in sports. He’s a proud Richmond Tigers fan who loves staying active, whether it’s cycling, gym workouts, or cooking up a storm.

Joella is a dynamic and accomplished sports industry professional with over ten years of experience. Joella’s expertise spans multiple sports, from club to state to national sporting organisations. Joella is an avid sports enthusiast and has a strong focus on grassroots engagement.

Curtis McCann

Program Officer for East Gippsland & Wellington

Curtis is dedicated to providing clients with specialised assistance at community level sport. Curtis’s journey from telecommunications to state government reflects his passion for community service and sports. When he’s not backing the Lakers or South East Melbourne Phoenix, Curtis enjoys outdoor activities and quality time with his family.

 Rachel Ronaldson

Program Coordinator for East Gippsland & Wellington

Rachel has a wealth of experience and knowledge in sports, her experience consists of working at club and state sports. Rachel also has a wealth of experience volunteering in community sport. Rachel’s educational background includes Exercise and Sport Science, Business Management, and a Masters in Clinical Exercise and Rehabilitation. Rachel’s leadership shines through her volunteer work in netball as a coach and previously held role of vice president. Avid supporter for the Brisbane Lions and the Melbourne Vixens, she’s always game for an outdoor adventure with friends.
