Here’s what a typical session looks like so you and your child know exactly what to expect on the day.
Drop-off begins at 8:45am. Carers must accompany children in and sign them in with a staff member. Please have your completed registration form ready if this is your first session.

Children rotate through a variety of sports and challenges — from pickleball and ultimate frisbee to wheelchair basketball and team games. Each activity is designed to be fun, engaging, and accessible for all skill levels.
Midway through, children take a breather with a piece of fruit (apple or banana) and water. This is also a great social time for kids to chat and wind down briefly before the next activity.
The session wraps up at 12:00pm with a group cool-down. Carers can collect children from 12:00pm — pick-up must be completed by 12:15pm. Children are signed out by staff before leaving.

Not at all! The program is designed for all ability levels. Whether your child plays sport every weekend or has never picked up a frisbee, our staff will support them and make sure they’re having fun. Activities are structured to be inclusive and welcoming for beginners and experienced players alike.
Absolutely. Each session runs independently, so you’re welcome to book one day or both. If you’d like your child to attend both the Tuesday 30 June and Monday 6 July sessions, simply register for each date separately at $20 per session, per child.
Children should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate sports clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for running and active play. Please apply sunscreen before drop-off and pack a hat. All sports equipment, a fruit snack, and water will be provided — there’s no need to bring your own.
Yes — inclusion is central to how this program is designed. Wheelchair basketball is included across both age groups specifically to ensure all children can participate meaningfully. If your child has specific support needs, please reach out when registering so we can best prepare for their attendance.
All sessions are run by qualified, experienced sports and recreation staff from GippSport and Latrobe Leisure. Staff maintain appropriate child-to-supervisor ratios and are trained in child safety and first aid.
A piece of fruit (apple or banana) and water is provided at the snack break. If your child has a known allergy or dietary requirement, please note this on the registration form and contact us prior to the session. You’re also welcome to send an alternative snack with your child if needed.
Please keep your child home if they are unwell on the day of the session. Contact us as soon as possible to let us know. We encourage you to get in touch directly regarding your booking if illness prevents attendance.
Yes, but this must be arranged in advance. Please note any authorised pickup persons on the registration form, or contact staff on the day before the session ends. All children must be signed out by an authorised adult — we cannot release children to anyone not listed or notified.
