South Gippsland Clubs: Access Up to $1,000 Every Month

Need a quick financial boost for minor equipment or club expenses? South Gippsland Shire Council offers a rolling monthly grant program with a fast turnaround.

If your South Gippsland-based club is looking for a fast, accessible way to fund minor projects, equipment upgrades, or day-to-day community initiatives, the South Gippsland Shire Small Grants Program is an excellent option.

Unlike major seasonal funding rounds, this program operates on a rolling monthly basis. This gives your committee the flexibility to apply exactly when the need arises, rather than waiting for an annual drop.

How the Monthly Cycle Works

The Council’s program is highly predictable, making it easy for your committee to plan your applications:

  • Applications Open: The 1st day of every month.

  • Applications Close: The last day of every month.

Funding Limits & Rules

Before applying, ensure your project fits within the strict funding brackets set by the Shire:

Grant Amounts

You can request a minimum of $100 up to a maximum of $1,000.

Strict Cut-offs

Any requests for amounts below $100 or above $1,000 will be automatically deemed ineligible for assessment.

Annual Caps

A South Gippsland organization may only receive two (2) Small Grants per calendar year.

Critical Application Requirements

To protect the integrity of the program, the Council requires full financial disclosure. If you fail to provide the following, your application will be automatically rejected:

  • Your club’s latest annual Financial Report.

  • Your organization’s current bank statement(s).

  • Official quotes for the items or services you intend to purchase.
