We are thrilled to announce that we are officially a Get Active Kids Voucher Program Activity Provider, and Round 8 is now open for applications! Act swiftly, as applications will remain open until the voucher allocation is fully exhausted.
Whether your family is interested in fostering your child’s physical literacy through our KIDDO Gippsland Programs or enhancing their sporting experience with an Gippsland Sporting Clubs, Active Kids vouchers provide a fantastic opportunity to support your child’s active lifestyle.
Who’s Eligible?
If your family or child holds a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, you may qualify for up to $200 to contribute towards your child’s registration with either our KIDDO Gippsland program or any participating Gippsland sporting club. An Active Kids Voucher will cover your child for two terms of KIDDO Gippsland, developing the skills, motivation and confidence to be active for life.
Important Dates to Remember:
Round 8 Application Period:
- Open: 10:00 AM, Wednesday, 9 October 2024
- Closes: Until voucher allocation is exhausted
Reimbursement Expenditure Dates:
- From 1 July 2024 until the submission of your application
Voucher Expiry Date:
- Tuesday, 29 April 2025
How to Apply:
- Visit the Application Page: Head over to www.getactive.vic.gov.au/vouchers to apply for your Active Kids voucher.
- Complete Your Application: Fill out the necessary details and ensure you select us as your Activity Provider. We are listed under GippSport with the Get Active Kids Voucher Program number 3348454.
- Receive Your Voucher: Once approved, your voucher will be emailed to you.
- Redeem Your Voucher: Provide your voucher code when paying your fees to receive up to $200 off the registration and membership fee, which also covers any included uniforms and/or equipment.
Tip: Make sure to select us as your Activity Provider during the application process to take full advantage of the voucher benefits.
Already Enrolled? Apply for a Reimbursement:
If you have already paid for your child’s activity, you can apply for a reimbursement. You can only apply for either one voucher or a reimbursement for each child in Round 8.
Special Considerations:
Special considerations are available for children residing in care services, as well as for temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants, or international students. This ensures that all children have the opportunity to stay active and engaged in their communities.
