Sport Development Trainee
Part/Full Time (0.8 - 1.0 EFT negotiable)
Location: Sale/Bairnsdale

We’re looking for someone enthusiastic and ready to learn to join GippSport as a Sport Development Trainee. You’ll gain hands-on experience in community sport and recreation while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III or IV in Sport Development – and we’ll cover the course fees!

Nationally recognised qualification – with study time each week

What You’ll Do:
Help run sport and physical activity programs
Support events and community engagement
Learn how to coach, promote, and grow sport in Gippsland
Build skills in communication, teamwork and organisation
Use tech tools like Microsoft Office, social media, and online platforms
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Loves sport, being active and working with others
Is motivated to learn and take on new challenges
Has good communication skills and a positive attitude
Is willing to complete formal study as part of the job
Holds (or is willing to get) a Working with Children Check and Police Check
Has a driver’s licence
No experience? No worries! This is a true entry-level role — perfect if you’re finishing school or looking for your first full-time job.
📍 Based in Sale or Bairnsdale – working across Wellington and East Gippsland
💰 Salary: $27,000–$30,000 + 11.5% super + 17.5% leave loading + course fees paid
