Volunteer with DSA Bass Coast

 Make a Difference on the Waves! 

The Disabled Surfers Association (DSA) Bass Coast is hosting a free surfing day in Inverloch, and we need helping hands more than anything else! This is your chance to be part of a community event that brings joy, fun, and the thrill of surfing to people of all abilities.

Why Volunteer?

  • Support surfers in the water or on land, no experience needed!
  • Be part of a day that creates smiles, confidence, and unforgettable memories.
  • Connect with your local community and make a real impact.

Other Ways to Get Involved:

  • Surfers: No experience needed! Limited wetsuits available. A carer/guardian must attend.
  • Carers/Guardians: Support your surfer and register together.

Event Details:

  • When: Volunteer check-in 8:30am | Surfer registration 10:00am | First surf 11:00am
  • Where: Inverloch Beach (wheelchair-accessible boardwalk & beach wheelchairs available)
  • Extras: Free sausage sizzle, fruit, water & sunscreen. Just bring your hat, towel, and enthusiasm!
