Wellington Shire grants are open, and we can help you apply.

Wellington Shire Council’s Community Assistance Grants are open now for the August 2026 funding round, with between $2,501 and $6,000 available for local clubs and community groups.

This round is aimed at projects that get more people active, build inclusion, strengthen local partnerships, or help your club grow its skills and connections. If your project fits in there somewhere, it’s worth applying.

There’s also a Quick Response Grant stream open year round, offering up to $2,500 for smaller, time-sensitive projects.

If your club wants a hand putting together a strong application, get in touch with the GippSport team. We’re happy to help you through the process.
