An exciting opportunity exists to join GippSport as part of our Community Programs team based out of any one of our 4 office sites. (Traralgon, Sale, Inverloch, Bairnsdale)
This role will work with our Programs team, to deliver a suite of programs in schools, early learning centres and communities across Gippsland. Our programs support children (KIDDO), youth (Streetgames style), and adults (including persons with a disability)
You Are:
- Energetic & Athletic
- Eager to role model active play to the target cohort
- Enthusiastic & Willing to learn/share your skills
- Flexible, as hours and locations are varied
You Will:
- Facilitate physical activity sessions
- Engage with local youth within each community
- Listen and Document needs of each cohort
- Encourage participation in whatever means that is for each participant
- Ensure a fun and safe environment
We Will Provide:
- An opportunity for you to work in the sport/recreation sector
- Training where required to perform the duties of the role
- Fair wages in line with the Miscellaneous Award, including casual loading
