Getting Women and Girls Active in Latrobe City
GippSport is proudly working with Latrobe City Council to explore ways in which we can better support women and girls to get active with support form VicHealth.
There are so many reasons why getting active is so important; including improving your physical and mental wellbeing, improved sleep, and also the important social connections that come from sport.
We are hosting a workshop at the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium (GRISS) in Traralgon, and we invite anyone who works, volunteers, plays or is passionate about sport or physical activity opportunities for women and girls to come along. We know the sporting landscape continues to change, especially after COVID, so it is important that we keep talking about what the current needs are.
It will be an interactive session, where we will share information about Gippy Girls Can and other programs that are available, along with asking you to get involved in some workshop questions about what we can do in Latrobe City to make it easier for local women and girls.
The FREE session will start at 6:30pm. Register below.
