Gen G Has Officially Launched

GippSport launched the Gen G on the Go program in Wurruk on Thursday 6 September. Gen G is an early intervention program that offers activities to youth at risk of involvement in the justice system.

The project partners include GippSport, Latrobe Youth Space, Centre for Multicultural Youth, United Muslim Sisters of Latrobe Valley, Latrobe Community Health Services, Wurruk Community House, and Dr Sue Plowright Independent Consultant and GippSport’s Community Solutions.

16 young people, supported by 8 staff from partner agencies attended the Wurruk Launch, the young people codesigned the program for their local area. We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made the launch possible.

The Wurruk activity club will be held weekly on Thursdays until 8 December 2022 at Wurruk Community House. Spots are still available. Get involved in the NEW Gen G program today!
