Level 1 Sports Trainers Course Warragul

Garry Bilson, from State-wide Massage, is due back in Gippsland soon to deliver another round of sports trainer’s courses. Developed specifically for club personnel, the courses cover:

  • Roles and Responsibilities of a Sports Trainer
  • Emergency Planning and Crisis Management
  • Concussion and Medical Conditions
  • On-field Assessment
  • Safe Practice
  • Soft Tissue Injuries, Assessment and Management
  • Stretcher Procedures
  • Basic Strapping Techniques (thumb, fingers, wrist, ankle, knee, plantar fasciitis, shin pain)

Pre-requisite Requirements:

Current First Aid Certificate; or in the process of doing so.
