An exciting opportunity exists to join GippSport’s team as Sport Hub Administrator.

A Community Sports Hub is a collective of local sports clubs who come together to improve the contribution that sport and physical activity has on a community. By sharing resources and creating efficiencies in the delivery of local sport, we will specifically address the challenges that community clubs currently face to allow them to focus on growing sport participation outcomes.

The Sports Hub Administrator will play a key role in providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations for community clubs participating in the Hub. It presents an exciting opportunity for someone who displays high attention to detail, has excellent administration skills and can manage multiple priorities.

The nature of the role will involve assisting with all administration tasks within a sporting organisation, including but not limited to; production of minutes, processing member registrations, compiling statistics and reports, developing and implementing marketing and social media content.

Working alongside the Manager: Sector Development and Consulting, this role will require excellent communication skills along with effective and efficient administration to ensure the highest standard of professionalism is provided to our community clubs participating in the Hub.

Our purpose is to enable a more active, healthy and inclusive Gippsland through sport and active recreation.  GippSport is the peak body for sport and recreation in the Gippsland region and is one of the Regional Sports Assemblies who come together through the Regional Sport Victoria network. 

Our work reaches people in local communities right across Gippsland through sporting clubs, health settings and schools, offering educational information, sport and recreation programs and advocating for strong and healthy communities.
