Work Experience/SWL student

Are you ready to take the next step in your career path? Do you have a keen interest in the Sport and Recreation Industry? GippSport is offering a fantastic opportunity for students to gain experience in the sport and recreation industry through the SWL and Work Experience programs.

Gain practical experience while observing and learning from industry qualified and experienced professionals. Working in real-life scenarios by designing and delivering sports programs and completing professional development courses and undertaking administration duties.

Work experience students will spend the week shadowing our coordinators to experience what goes on behind the scenes, as well as taking part in some sport and recreation programs in school and community settings.

SWL students will receive the chance to work on their own project of interest such as designing a youth-focused event or activity under the guidance of an experienced program coordinator.

Placement location may vary from term to term: Traralgon, Bairnsdale, Inverloch, and Sale.
